Garvin, John "Johnny" Weir born 2 July 1984 is an American figure skater. He is a three-time U.S. National Champion 2008 Worlds bronze, twice the Grand Prix Final bronze medalist and 2001 World Junior Champion. His family moved to Newark, Delaware, shortly after Johnny began skating at age 12 so he could be close to their courses and training.
Weir skated with Champions on Ice touring ice show every spring from 2004 to 2007, his last season before going out of business.Weir has two pet Chihuahuas named Bon-Bon and Vanya, and is a collector of Russian Cheburashka memorabilia.He benefit Board of Governors Play, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting childhood obesity and promote healthy lifestyles for youth.
Weir appeared in an episode of When I was 17 at the MTV network, which describes his experiences in high school.Weir cooperation with Traver Rains raise money for the Trevor Project in 2010.Weir was a successful competitor as a statue. He became interested in figure skating at the age of eleven, while watching Oksana Baiul win her 1994 Olympic gold.
