Neelam is a former Indian actress and an established jewelry designer. After her early childhood in Hong Kong, the family moved to Bangkok and Neelam was on holiday in Mumbai and was contacted by Ramesh Behle. She decided to give it a shot and did Jawaani in 1984 along with Karan Shah, but the film was a flop. Since so she did many other films in the late 1980's met with mixed success.
